The Central Virginia Professional Chapter has completed its new web page structure and would love to hear from you. We are now working closely with the Virginia Tech Student Chapter to work two more projects this year. The first one is a water catchment project for the Hope Primary School which was completed earlier this year for students already in the school but with very poor facilities. The project is to add a number of roof water catchment facilities to prevent soil erosion and to add to the water supply for the school

The second project is at St Michaels Primary School where electricity is being added in the form of a solar storage and lighting system. The school is in an area without electrical supply and needs to add an electrical system to meet its basic needs for the students.
